Our History
Houston, TX
Pastor Leonard and his wife, Alexis, are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others and helping people grow in their faith. In July 2021, they felt a strong call from God to establish a new ministry in Houston, Texas. With much prayer and preparation, they answered the call and relocated from San Antonio to Houston in November 2021.
As they embark on this new chapter of their lives, Pastor Leonard and Alexis are excited to see all that God has in store for their ministry in Houston. They are committed to preaching the Gospel message and providing a place of worship and fellowship where people can connect with God and one another.
Pastor Leonard has over 20 years of experience in ministry and has a heart for helping people discover and fulfill their God-given purpose. Alexis is also actively involved in ministry and has a gift for serving others with compassion and kindness. Together, they make a dynamic team that is dedicated to bringing hope and healing to those they encounter.

Fellowship History
1970
Arizona
Wayman and Nelda Mitchell moved to Prescott, Arizona, to take over a small congregation that was struggling. When they arrived, a number of young hippies, who were very different from anyone in the church, were saved by God. Despite their differences, they were welcomed into the congregation and God began to pour out His Spirit on the church.
1973
Pastor Mitchell began to see the value of concert ministry as a training ground for ministry development. The concert ministry was run by young people who were committed to Jesus and His church. Pastor Mitchell also began to reveal God's plan of discipleship: training young couples for ministry within a local church. The first couple was launched directly into the ministry in 1973, and God blessed them!
Late 70's
Churches began to be planted throughout the Southwestern United States, and then further across America as converts prayed for the Gospel to be preached in their hometowns.
1978
The first couple was planted in Australia, and as the ministry began to understand God's global mission more and more, churches began to be planted throughout the world.
Present day
As of now, there are over 2100 churches in 44 US states and 117 nations around the world, all started from the small congregation in Prescott that Wayman and Nelda Mitchell took over in 1970. The church has continued to grow and expand its mission of discipleship and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all corners of the world.
